Is frame protection worth it?
There are many benefits to installing paint protection film, from avoiding unsightly scuffs and stone chips, to improving resale value when the times comes for a change. Our research suggests second hand prices can be affected by as much as 15% for bikes with paintwork in poor condition.
What tools do I need to install PPF?
We recommend mixing up a slip solution in a spray bottle, using 2 drops of baby shampoo to 500ml of water. An old store card works great as a squeegee too. You can see example videos on our application page.
How do I maintain the protective film?
You can wash and care for you bike as you normally would, is it perfectly safe to use soaps and cleaners on the film. From time to time you can use a hair dryer to heat the film and activate its self healing properties to remove fine scratches.
