Material Options

We offer a select range of material options for our products, all utilising automotive grade self adhesive paint protection vinyl. During our testing we found there was a balance between level of protection and ease of installation, as the thicker the film, the more difficult it becomes to contour around a frame or component. As a result the vinyl we use is between 120-150 microns. 

Gloss Clear 

This is our premier material and the default option for all our protection products. It offers a high gloss finish with impressive clarity that is UV exposure resistant, self healing and non yellowing. We recommend this film for painted frames, polished or clear coated titanium.

Matt Clear

Our matt clear material also features the same UV exposure resistance, self healing and non yellowing properties as our gloss clear film. It looks absolutely fantastic on matt finishes and is almost invisible once applied. It is perfect for matt and satin painted frames or brushed titanium. We do recommend being cautious not to use any cleaning products that contain high glossing agents, as this could reduce the matt look of the film.

Carbon Effect

This option is mostly an aesthetic one, for those who want to make a statement of their protection. Made using a casting process that gives the material a texture, it looks and feels more premium compared to a traditional printed carbon fibre design. The finish appears satin, resembling prepreg carbon fabric and so is best used as an accent instead of a direct match to lacquered carbon.
